MEWS

As soon as a reservation is booked or changed in MEWS, MY SPA calls up the reservation data at your preferred interval. We suggest every 5 minutes. Dates of stay, fellow travellers and their guest profiles are imported - with all personal data. The guest's language determines the language of the customer documents, if a translation is provided for this language. 

MY SPA displays a variety of details about the guest's stay in the planner. From check-in status, arrival and departure dates to conflicts with the reservation. 

Arrangements and fixed services are transferred to MY SPA for fulfilment. As these are already booked on the hotel bill, they will not be invoiced again. Additionally booked treatments, item sales and tips are booked to the folio of the guest profile or the main portfolio of the reservation. All bookings are also sent to the MEWS revenue accounts. For external payments, the invoice is signed for fiscalisation, depending on the country. MEWS receives the booking for the allocation of the payment accounts concerned.

Mappings: The basic service type for SPA services is ‘Other’. It is not necessary to create all services and articles sold in MY SPA as individual services in MEWS. MEWS subcategories can be mapped with SPA categories, e.g. a MEWS category can be assigned for all spa services or one for massages, one for cosmetics, etc. Packages can be mapped by rate and service codes. The VAT types are defined by the MEWS tax name, the same applies to the codes of the paymethods. The names must be identical in both systems.
